On 20th,August,2012 morning the staff members of RIC-NET set off for a presentation to the top management meeting of Kyenjojo district, under the enhancing civic competence to strengthen social accountability in the 25 Districts in 5 regions of Uganda.
The two year project with funding from the European Union will involve the development of dynamic website and an E-library , renewal of the domain name, training for the staff, payment of hosting fees.
The process starts immediately after the District signs an MOU with RIC-NET to formalise the operations. Through the Chief Administrative officer the project was highly welcomed and in the shortest time the MOU will be signed. The techinical team is set to have the workdone as soon as possible, in addition to the cooperation demonstrated by the District officials the website is expected to be running by October.
