Following several Sub-county meetings
conducted by RICNET on the need to stamp out violence against in Kasese, on the
5thand 6th Sept.2016, the probation officers of Karambi
and Kitholhu were able to disclose the statistical status of the violence against
children cases in the sub-counties respectively. Among other people who
attended the duo meetings were; the local council one, two and three
chairpersons, Sub-county speakers, parish chiefs, Sub-County chairperson of
people with disabilities, probation officer, CDO and the police.
