We promise to do our best, these were words of the conflict
affected girls in Rwamwanja refugee camp being trained at CEKA with in
partnership with RIC-NET.The new training session that started in December 2017
is attended by Mapendo Leah (19), Alliance Penina, (21), Jeanathe Bahiyi (20),
Nyiramkunda providence (23) and Sara Mugire (18).
Having left DR Congo in 2017, these girls have no way to
fend for themselves apart from the food supplied by the humanitarian agencies.
The training in tailoring or hair dressing coupled with psycho social support
and business management skills will enable them earn regular income and a positive
outlook to life.
