As
part of the global fund for children project that targets supporting both in
school conflict affected girls with scholastic material, sanitary towels,
reproductive health and psychosocial support and mentoring and out school
conflict affected girls with vocational trainings, reproductive health,
entrepreneurship skills, RIC-NET gave out scholastic material like books and
pens and sanitary towels to girls of St Theresa girls school Nsenyi Kasese.

The
material were handed over to sister Muhindo Catherine a teacher at the school
who works as a mistress in charge of the conflict affected girls in the school
who offers psychosocial support to the girls. The were handed to her
by RIC-NET Executive director Murugahara John Silco and project officer Kenyana
Evelyn on Monday 6th July 2015 at the school.
The
girls were happy about the materials and they said that they would help them in
their attendance in class as sometimes they miss classes as a result of lack of
these materials.
